Lead designer on redesign
A new look for the UK’s largest wildlife and conservation charity.
Wildlife and conservation charity, the RSPB recently had a significant rebrand and shift in direction. Becoming a stronger voice for change and bringing their credentials in science and research to the fore. I was given the opportunity to redesign their flagship member communication, The RSPB Magazine. I had to quickly understand their new brand guidelines and ethos to apply them to a magazine format that would be engaging to members and also be in line with RSPB’s agenda. The magazine was completely redesigned form the ground up, from commissioning drone photography to fit the new aesthetic to working on layout templates that would give room to the stunning imagery and fascinating science. The redesign was well received and helped inform other design output for the RSPB. I have also more recently designed an immersive, interactive digital version of the magazine for members who wish to opt out of a print version.
