Selling an album on the newsstand.
I recently worked with Warner Music to create a limited edition retail magazine to accompany Ed Sheeran’s new album, ‘Subtract’. Packaging up the CD with the limited edition magazine was a clever way to increase the sale of physical copies and give the album a presence on the high street. This was a really fun project to work on. I took my design inspiration from the distressed paint effects on the album artwork and the broken typewriter font of Ed Sheeran’s logo.
